Welcome to the Coesse Elementary School website!  As you tour the site you will see that the students and staff of our school are doing exciting things as they grow in their learning and become responsible citizens.

Coesse Elementary is a C.L.A.S.S. school.  We work daily in our classrooms on Life-skills and our Lifelong Guidelines.  Instruction at Coesse is centered in each grade on a yearlong theme that connects all areas of learning.  If you visit our school, you will also see, hear, and feel an atmosphere conducive to learning.

We encourage you to visit the W.C.C.S. home page and look at our ISTEP performance.  Students at Coesse are performing exceptionally well, earning almost 90% scores in two of the three tested grades.  In addition to ISTEP testing, student progress is measured and reviewed through the MAP test and Quarterly Progress Exams.

Many of our parents take an active role in the many special family-oriented activities our PTO sponsors.  From Family Movie Night, to Muffins with Mom and Donuts with Dad, to the all-school carnival, the Coesse PTO is an active partner with the school in building and maintaining strong families.

Students at Coesse have the opportunity to participate in numerous academic endeavors outside the classroom.  Young Rembrandts Art program, Math and Spell Bowl teams, and our annual Science Fair all provide children with opportunities to further explore areas that interest them.

 The staff of Coesse Elementary is dedicated to the complete education of every student in our building.  We encourage you to visit our building and see this great teaching and learning taking place daily!
