We recognize most students find academic and social success best through in-person learning. We have become increasingly aware; however, of a growing number of students who thrive through alternative learning environments specifically through online learning. Eagleview Online serves as a school choice option for families to maintain a connection with the Whitley County Consolidated School Corporation while selecting a learning option they feel works best for student(s).

Families interested in enrolling in Eagleview Online should be aware of the following before enrollment:

• K-11 Participants commit to one semester of enrollment. Seniors (12th grade) are asked to make a year-long commitment.

• Eagleview Online School students are required to complete in-person testing as various times throughout the school year for local and state-mandated testing (iLearn, PSAT, etc.) Medical screening is also required at different grade levels.

• Strict adherence to an online school handbook is required. Failure to follow attendance guidelines and remain current in coursework will result in removal from the online program.

• Eagleview Online seniors will graduate from Eagleview Online, not Columbia City High school, and will have a separate graduation ceremony at the end of the year.

Any student interested in attending Eagleview Online School must first apply for admission. Before applying, families are encouraged to determine if their student is ready for virtual learning by completing the Penn State Online Readiness Questionaire.
The application for the 2024-2025 School Year is currently closed.

Families applying after the start of any semester should be aware of the following:

• Any grades entered in the current semester at the home school will not transfer.

• Students will start their semester over in the online environment and will be required to complete the entire 18 weeks of assignments by the end of the WCCS semester.

• Eagleview Online School offers a variety of courses, but not all courses offered at ISMS or CCHS transfer to scheduling options at Eagleview Online, so adjustments will be made.

• Students with special education needs will need to schedule a case conference to review accommodations and options within Eagleview Online before transfer.

• The enrollment and transfer process is not immediate and several days may transpire before a student can start their online courses.

• Applications for Fall 2025 are Due August 1, 2025.
