The Board of Education for the Whitley County School Corporation consists of nine (9) members elected by the district voters. The Board conducts a Work Session on the first Monday of each month in order to receive information prior to their business meeting. Although the Board reserves the right to conduct its business as necessary, the general purpose of these work sessions is to receive important information prior to making decisions for the corporation.

The business meeting is conducted on the third Monday of each month and is broadcast LIVE on WJHS, 91.5 FM beginning at approximately 5:30 p.m. whenever possible.

This meeting is a meeting of the School Board in public for the purpose of conducting the School Corporation's business and is not to be considered a public community meeting.  There will be time for public expression as indicated by the agenda.

The public is encouraged and invited to attend work and business sessions.
