During the Eagle home game on August 23, WCCS Teacher of the Year, Erin Fudge, and Exemplary Staff of the Year, Steve Corbin, were honored.

City Chevy and City Ford of City Automall presented our Teacher of the Year, Erin Fudge, with a new car to drive for the school year of her choice and presented Steve Corbin, Exemplary Staff of the Year, with a $1,000 check.

Teacher of the Year finalists were: Alissa Roberts, Columbia City High School; Amy Shearer, Indian Springs Middle School; and Erin Fudge, WCCS Elementary Teacher of the Year.

Jill Lickey and Tanya Yager were Exemplary Employee finalists. Steve Corbin was named WCCS Exemplary Employee of the Year and works in our transportation department.

Whitley County Consolidated Schools chose Teacher of the Year and Exemplary Employee of the Year through a nomination and selection committee of administrators, staff, and community members.

Thank you, Kasey Shirey and City Automall for your commitment to our community and our school.
