"She has the biggest heart for her students. She goes above and beyond among sure her students learn the curriculum, have fun, always give their best, and feel loved every day. She never gives up on her students. Even the toughest kids come out of their shell or show tremendous growth because she never gives up on them and never slows them to give up either. As former students pass her in the hall, they give her hugs because she left a lasting impression on them," said Mrs. Grable's nominator. "She is always looking for opportunities to learn more to better understand and to better help her students and colleagues. Her excellence and love for education go beyond the walls of her classroom. It extends throughout the building and the homes of her students. She truly loves her students and is always working to create a community within her classroom that teaches to the home as well."
