Good morning, Due to the heat index predicted for dismissal time today and tomorrow, Wednesday, and Thursday, we will be rearranging how we handle afternoon bus dismissal to limit the amount of time students are on the buses. Students will be put into bus lines inside the buildings. As each bus pulls up, students will load the appropriate bus and leave school grounds. This will minimize the amount of time students are sitting on a non-moving bus. This should not impact student arrival times dramatically. Your elementary age child may arrive a few minutes earlier if your child rides a bus that is one of the first buses to leave the school grounds. Parent pick up times and procedures remain the same for all buildings. However, if you are picking up on the south campus (ISMS or CCHS), please watch for and give right of way to our buses. They will not be moving in a group as they normally do. We will have additional persons out to direct traffic. Thank you, Dr. Laura McDermott, Superintendent

Good morning, The heat index during bus dismissal today and throughout the remainder of the week could be in excess of 90 degrees. Our bus drivers exercise every precaution to ensure your children are as comfortable as possible during these very hot days and make every effort to deliver them home quickly and safely. Your child may carry a water bottle on the bus. School staff will work to ensure students are hydrated prior to loading the buses. Thank you, Dr. Laura McDermott
