It's National School Breakfast Week! Join us in celebrating the importance of a nutritious breakfast for our students. Today our Food Service Director visited Northern Heights Elementary to pass out samples of tomorrow's breakfast. The twisted cinnamon cheese-stuffed blueberry breadstick received an overwhelming thumbs up from the students! Make sure to stop by the cafeteria tomorrow morning to enjoy a delicious and nutritious treat!

Coesse students met an author!
Last week, students virtually met author Peter Reynolds. Peter read his book ISH, led students through a draw-along, and took time to answer student's questions.
Thank you Coesse PTO for providing this opportunity!

Each quarter our community partners are invited to join us for a breakfast to hear program updates and help guide curriculum that matters to our kids.
Thank you to those who joined!

With the help of our Wellness Coach, WCCS has been cooking up some healthful cupcakes!
WCCS Employees had a chance to make whole wheat flour red velvet cupcakes. Participants listened to music while the cupcakes were baked and had a 20-minute discussion on some of the ingredients!

Not a big sports fan, but if she had to choose, it would be IU.

Coesse's three robotics teams planned, built, and continually improved their robots during the last 4 months. They were able to compete in their first competition this weekend in Huntington to show what they could do against 28 other teams. Overall, they all did amazing and improved their skills! Our 5th-grade team was even able to make it in the finals and ended up placing 5th.
They are all looking forward to improving their designs so they are ready for their final competition in March.
Congrats, Eagles!
